Jukebox Cabinet Restoration
Jukebox Cabinet Restoration
Jukebox cabinets are completely disassembled and stripped
Grand America Jukebox has tackled some of the most difficult problems with jukebox cabinets! Here, someone had used filler to repair the wood. We removed the filler, cut out the problem areas, and replaced with real wood. Then the edges are tapered with filler, and sanded to a smooth finish, by hand
New hard wood veneer is applied by hand, and molded to the cabinet, making sure all edges are straight and solid. We then hand sand, stain, and clear coat the outside of the cabinet. We paint the inside and back doors, to the original factory colors
Sometimes, the Jukebox cabinets need much more. Just the base and top are all that was left of this Wurlitzer 1100 cabinet. We used the original wood as a template, to make new sides. We repaired the base, and refinished
We assembled the new sides, and the original back. Then installed the original top to this Wurlitzer 1100 Jukebox. We applied new Walnut veneer, and the cabinet is now ready for the paint booth. Having now been made much more structurally sound
Jukebox Amplifier Restoration
Grand America Jukebox completely rebuilds Jukebox Amplifiers. A complete Jukebox Amplifier Rebuild includes all new capacitors and a new set of Vacuum Tubes. We usually also replace the power cord, needle/cartridge, and check out or re-cone the original speaker(s)
Jukebox Final Assembly
The jukebox interior is re-assembled and detailed. All wiring is clamped. Final adjustments are made and new lights are installed

Jukebox Values
What is my Jukebox worth?
We do not estimate the value of a Jukebox. But, we can tell you where to look to figure it out on your own. It just requires some homework on your part. First let’s go over some real world issues to make sure your expectations are realistic. The collector market is down, and has been down since the recession (over 10 years ago). During the recession people lost their jobs, they lost their homes, they just did not need a Jukebox. They had much larger concerns. So they sold their Jukeboxes, flooding the market. And with not as many buyers, the values really went down, and has not come back up. So for right now, it is a buyers market. This may help you in deciding if you really want to sell right now, or just hang onto your Jukebox and enjoy it more
Next, you must start with exactly what you have, manufacture name and model number of your Jukebox. You want to compare Apples to Apples here. One model Jukebox could easily be worth more than a different model, just like cars. Then, is your Jukebox complete or is it missing anything? This will effect the value for sure. Next, does it work? Has it ever had any major work done to it, (has the amplifier or mechanism every been rebuilt)? This too will effect value.
Now, what to do with all this info? Here is what you do. Go online to eBay, and look under “Completed Listings” to see what your model Jukebox has actually sold for. Do not go to where items are currently for sale on ebay. The large price differences there will only confuse you further, or make you think your Jukebox is worth much more than it actually is. Completed Listings will show you all the auctions that ended, and what actually sold. “Sold” items will have their prices listed in Green print, and that is actually what they truly sold for. Items that did not sell, will have their prices listed in Black or Red print, meaning they were priced too high. Then you can also click on their descriptions, to compare them to yours, in more detail (were they complete like yours, did they work like yours, etc.) Also, find out where they were located. You need to make sure the item was at least in the same country as yours. Then you will have a pretty good realistic idea of what your Jukebox is really worth today. And if you really want to sell it for that
